The 125 MAX DD2 evo pairs a revolutionary chainless drive with a 2‑speed gearbox controlled by steering‑wheel shift paddles. Designed for drivers with kart racing experience, it delivers a Formula‑car‑like feel with strong performance and low maintenance.

Launched in 2002, the DD2 evo spurred new chassis developments across leading manufacturers.

Maximum performance is 25 kW / 34 hp at 12,000 rpm, with 22 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm.

Special features include the chainless drive, electronic shifting assistance, an electronically controlled exhaust valve, electric starter, integrated water pump, and a balanced, water‑cooled 2‑stroke package. The power pack includes intake silencer, carburetor, fuel pump, engine, exhaust system, radiator, battery box with cover, wiring harness, OFF/ON/START switch, and relay.
